Marcin Koziak was born in 1989 in Krakow, Poland. At the age of ten he won his first Poland-wide competition and made his debut with the Krakow Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra at the age of eleven.

He is a laureate of international competitions including 1^st Prize at the 2^nd International Chopin Competition for Young Pianists in Budapest, 2^nd Prize and three additional prizes at the 7^th International Competition for Young Pianists in Bydgoszcz (Poland), and 3^rd Prize at the 10^th Hastings International Piano Concerto Competition (United Kingdom). He was a semifinalist of the 16^th International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw .

Marcin has participated at major festivals and concert cycles including the 30^th La Roque d’Anthéron International Piano Festival, La Folle Journée au Japon,  1^st ASEM Culture and Arts Festival (Beijing), Rubinstein Piano Festival (Lodz);, La Folle Journée au Varsovie, 10^th International Kiev Summer Music Evenings, International Chopin Festival in Duszniki Zdroj, and also at other festivals in Geneva, Paris, Aix-en-Provence, Milan, Warsaw, Krakow, Lodz, and Katowice.

He has performed with many orchestras including the Chinese National Symphony Orchestra, Warsaw Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonia Varsovia, Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Sinfonietta Cracovia, and the Beethoven Academy Orchestra.

He has performed in the Forbidden City Concert Hall (Beijing), National Centre for the Performing Arts (Beijing), Art Center of Kobe (Japan), Cadogan Hall (London), Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall, Salle Cortot (Paris), Great Hall in Conservatory(Geneva), Verdi Hall (Milan) and in the other concert halls in Japan, China, USA, Russia, Ukraine, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Poland, Germany, France, Great Britain, Norway, Iceland, Sweden, Romania, Georgia, Estonia, and Hungary.

Mr. Koziak was invited to perform in the Chopin Museum in Warsaw on March 1, 2010, the anniversary of Chopin’s 200^th birthday.

Marcin Koziak has completed a Master’s Degree at the Academy of Music in Krakow. He is currently studying at Texas Christian University.
