Pedro Emanuel Pereira was born in Guimarães,Portugal in July 1990.

He started his musical studies at the age of five. He then attended the musical high school in his native country where he worked in the class of Marian Pivka.

He has been awarded prizes in several competitions, both national and international. He won the Grand Prize in the National Piano Competition “Florinda Santos” (Portugal). Other first prize awards have included International Piano Competition in the City of Fundao, (Portugal), International Piano Competition for Youth in San Sebastian (Spain), International Piano Competition Richard Vines (Spain), International Piano Competition City of Vigo (Spain), and International Competition for voice and piano duos in Moscow (Russia) with the mezzo-soprano Anna Viktorova.

He has given recitals in many important halls such as, Victoria Eugenia Theatre and Auditorium Kursaal in San Sebastian, D. Maria II Theatre in Lisbon, Auditorium Enrique

Granados in Barcelona, Casa da Musica, Oporto, Rachmaninov Hall, Small Hall, and Big Hall of Moscow Conservatory, Moscow. Mr. Pereira has been invited to perform in several international festivals in Spain, France, Portugal, Germany, Russia, and the U.S.A. where he performed both recitals and concerts with orchestras.

Mr. Pereira has made recordings for National TV and Radio of Portugal.

He is currently continuing his studies in Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory in the class of Vera Gornostaeva.
