THE 2025 GINA BACHAUER INTERNATIONAL PIANO FESTIVAL

 

3 DAYS OF EXTRAORDINARY MUSIC

 

The Bachauer invites music enthusiasts to experience three exhilarating days of brilliant piano virtuosity, featuring Bachauer laureates and friends performing in evening concerts and six young pianists showcasing their artistry in the Festival Students Concert.

 

Performing in the 2025 Bachauer Festival promises to be an important stepping-stone in the career of any young pianist. Six Festival Students (ages 14-18) will be selected through an international screening process.

 

FESTIVAL FACULTY

  • Douglas Humpherys (Bachauer Artistic Director and Professor of Piano at Eastman School of Music)
  • Jonathan Mamora (1st prizes in Virginia Waring, Maria Canals, Olga Kern, and the Scottish International Piano Competitions)
  • Hyojin Shin (1st prize in Concours International de Piano de Lyon; prizes at the Teresa Carreño and Arturo Benedetto Michelangeli Competitions in Europe; Gorodnitzki Prize at the 2024 Gina Bachauer Competition).

 

Each Festival Student will perform in two Master Classes, receiving instruction from the Festival Faculty, before combining forces in the Festival Students Concert on the stage of the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center.
